What is a Veterinary Nurse?
It’s worth noting that, apart from vets, only qualified and Registered (listed) Veterinary Nurses, and students in formal training are legally permitted to treat patients. These nurses have achieved NVQ level III in Veterinary Nursing, use the letters RVN after their name, wear bottle green and white uniforms and have a distinctive VN badge on their collar. We are committed at Mill House only to employ professional nurses to care for your pets.

Her further training has given her expertise in nutrition and special diets, dentistry, early training and behavioural therapy, and she offers consultations in all these areas. Penny supports our student nurses as an NVQ assessor.  She also takes Puppy Socialisation sessions and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
