Catherine started her training in 2015 at the College of Animal Welfare whilst on placement at Mill House Veterinary Hospital, she qualified in 2017. She most recently worked on the surgical team at a specialist referral hospital before returning to Mill House Vets in 2021. Since qualifying Catherine has done an additional certificate in Emergency and Critical care and thoroughly enjoys this aspect of working in a 24hr hospital.
She is interested in all aspects of surgery and anaesthesia, particularly orthopaedics, and she is particularly passionate about anaesthesia and analgesia management. She was keen to be part of a team that offers such high standards of care, prides itself on excellent client communication, and that sees such a varied and interesting range of cases.
In her spare time, Catherine is super-active, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, cooking, catching up with family and friends and doing volunteer programs at veterinary practices abroad. She also loves spending time with her Husky/Staffie cross, Milo.
