Aleks graduated with a veterinary degree from the University of Life Sciences, in Tartu, Estonia, in 2013. He has a post-graduate certificate in small animal surgery, PgC(SAS) and has been practicing in the UK since 2016. An area Aleks is particularly passionate about is orthopaedics. He relishes all aspects of orthopaedics and trauma and his clinical practice currently centres on surgical management of cranial cruciate ligament disease, patella luxation pathologies and complex fracture repairs. He has undertaken surgical training at the veterinary referrals hospital in Aberdeenshire and also at the orthopaedics referral clinic in East Neuk, Scotland. Improving your pet’s quality of life and seeing your four-legged family members walk again without trouble is what gets Aleks out of bed every day.
