Emma Pickering

Emma joined the team in 2017 as a Patient Care Assistant before becoming an SVN in 2018 and qualified as a Registered nurse in 2021. Emma has 9 cats, 2 dogs and a collection of chickens and ducks. Emma shares her home with her husband and 2 teenage children. Emma has set up ‘Emma’s Hedgehog Hotel’ with the aim to rescue, rehabilitate and release our prickly native species! Emma won the College of West Anglia, Apprentice Veterinary Nurse of the Year in 2020, acknowledging her hard work and dedication as a student!

Favourite areas of practice: Lab work, anaesthesia and client care.
